Springing Back into Market Season

The Barrow County Farmers Market is one of many located in north-east Georgia, but this family-friendly farmers market has a lot of different vendors that others do not have. Some of the vendors include Bold Springs Apiary, Mama’s Jams, Herbs By Debs, and many more! Some of the vendors offer seasonal vegetables, but some of the other items that are sold by vendors include things for your home and treats for your fur friends. For example, Pasta Milani sells fresh pasta and authentic sauce. Another vendor is Bruce & Sabby Doggy Biscuits, and they sell treats for your furry dog friends who are also welcome at the market! These are just many of the different items you can find at the market that you, your family and your pet may enjoy seeing and purchasing. 

It is that time of the year again! Farmers Markets are springing back, especially the Barrow County Farmers Market. The Barrow County Farmers Market is located behind the Historic Courthouse in Downtown Winder in Georgia. The market is every Saturday from April 9th through November 19th starting at 8:30am and ending at 12:30pm where you are able to experience Downtown Winder and meet and discover many local businesses owners and farmers! 

There are all these great vendors, but the best part is getting a sense of community after being separated from people you care about due to the pandemic. The Barrow County Farmers Market is ready to spring back into the farmers market season; however, everyone is most excited to see all the new and old faces coming to the market on Saturday mornings. Downtown Winder is the place to be in the springtime for the Barrow County Farmers Market, and for the restaurants and scenery in Downtown Winder.

Furthermore, the Barrow County Farmers Market is open to anyone and everyone! If you are passing through Downtown Winder on a Saturday morning, you should stop by! If you live in Barrow County, but do not have plans until after 1pm on a Saturday, stop by the market!
